The "Bible" for canine care!
3 of 3 found this helpful The third in a series, this book is arguably the most comprehensive volume for the educated dog owner. Veterinary practices and suggestions are explained in a concise way, and helpful illustrations are included. Breeders and show people praise the author(s) and the content. I have trained and shown dogs for years, and wouldn't be without this reference.

Tried 'em all, this is the best!
We live in the woods, with three Jack Russell Terriers and a series of dropped off cats which we've adopted over the years. I've tried about all of the flea/tick products on the market, prescription, holistic, natural, etc. This one works, period.
One dog, "Woody," has a "flea allergy," which means that his entire system goes crazy with rash & itching if he's bitten by just one flea. Many products kill when the insect actually bites the animal, and ingests blood containing trace amounts of the chemical. That's no good for him. Frontline Plus kills the insects BEFORE that bite, and continues killing eggs, etc.
