A Spiritual Classic
This book is a classic and anyone who wants to understand more deeply the rugged and grace filled faith of the early Society of Friends should read it.
George Fox had a mammoth personality and unearthly integrity and it is no wonder the Quakers as they were later referred to still exist to this day.
My husband and I have read the book twice each and had the joy of sitting in a Friends Meeting House in a small rural community 4 hours from our home.
History can teach us many things. The 1600's in England were perhaps even more crazy and chaotic than today.
It's a lesson on internal peace and how to dwell in the distinct silence of God.

All time Favourite. When Movies Had Substance.
2 of 2 found this helpful Awesome movie. Epic time. The movie came out when I was graduating from high School so is exactly my vintage in thinking. So many laughs and land marks.
