Tin whistle

I am a recorder player and did once have a flageolet which I didn’t get on with and disposed of. I now have a daughter in Ireland and have seen tin whistles effectively played and thought I’d have another go. Have also acquired a book of Irish folk songs , many of which I recognise from going to hear folk groups in England. Am required as an elf to carry presents for Santa and thought the tin whistle would be useful. This year I’m sticking with the sopranino as it takes apart for my pocket and I am not up to speed on the fingerings on the whistle though I prefer the tone. Will practice for next year. Quality adequate for me. Also D the right choice.

Explains content

Revising degree level Spanish from 50 years ago with Duo Lingo and needed a grammar reference book, plus vocabulary lists attached to topics and , less so, verb tables. This was ideal. I am used to formal learning.
