Not Convinced Yet
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this reel for one reason only.. the ACS line clip..
i've only used it on 1 trip and the line did come out of the clip twice when casting up tight to a feature which is annoying as i lost 2 feeders because of it... as recommended i had the line clip pointing down when casting... maybe i'm doing something wrong but i don't think so as 98/100 casts were fine. no doubting the line comes out of the clip when a fish runs as it's supposed to and the front drag is absolutely first class as is the baitrunner. good value for 40 odd quid as comes with a single and a double handle, a shallow metal spool and a deep metal spool, the reel is nice and smooth but on the odd occasion the bale arm doesn't flip over until you move the spool round, my fishing buddy has one also and his is the same..
the jury is still out for me but i shall use it a few more times before i decide to keep it or move on to something else..
