Can't argue for the money but needs gluing properly
2 of 2 found this helpful Handy compact card reader, used on a 512GB Kingston card writing at a sustained 18MB/sec with absolutely no problems.
They've cut corners with the build quality a bit but with a bit of adhesive you can get it solid: put a line of glue around the edge of the casing where the two halves meet, and also some on the back of the connector (the square section on the reverse side of the connector pins) then plug it into a USB port for the glue to set in the right position.
Why pay more when this does the job?
