Screen works ok.. refresh rates really bad so no good for gaming or video. Also works through the GPIO pins not HDMI, so incompatible with some software (ie Kodi) without some tweaking.. For the money though it's a good buy

Seen many mixed reviews before for this and similar products. I got this to use in my camper van as it runs from 12 volts so i can run directly from lighter socket or from the mains using the supplied adapter. This cost me £27 delivered - I also have a decent home cinema projector. Obviously there is no comparison - one cost £27 the other cost £500+ you would have to be a fool to think the quality is the same. However - taking into account the low price, small size, built in media player, low power consumption etc this device is very good value. Yes the image is pixelated when you look closely, and the image isn't massively bright - but to watch the occasional movie on you simply cannot complain at this price. If you have realistic expectations then you will not be disappointed...
