Review of Hornby tank engine
The engine works well on a plain track but stutters when it encounters points. It pulls well, even on a gradient.
I am considering fitting a 'stay alive' capacitor in order to combat this problem. However, the capacitor should have been fitted at the factory, as the problem is well known.

Tyre guage
Intended for use with a classic motorcycle, this gauge is angled and allows a good fit on the bike tyre. Most gauges are designed to be used on modern cars and not on bikes.
I recommend this gauge.

Review of Hornby R044 switch
My first thought was 'It's big and bulky'. However, when I tried to insert the cables into the appropriate sockets, the pre-attached cable ends just would not enter the switch.
I will probably find a use for the switch at some point
