Enduring excellence!
No other way to describe the musical offerings on this CD other than timeless excellence.

"500 Nations" gives a well-researched account of First Nations' history, with great illustrations.
1 of 1 found this helpful The information supplied in exposing this history is well researched, edifying, and quite compelling. It grabbed my attention in an edge-of-my-seat way. I didn't think to put it down.
It was also enlightening in a filling-in-the-blanks sort of way which was very rewarding. It has been good to learn about tribal nations and their sub-groups, where and how they lived; their leadership and how their governing principles were implemented.
My family has kinship with the Apache nation, and I was surprised to learn that Cochise and Geronimo actually worked together defending their people. ( I feel like everyone must have known that except me.)
Alvin M. Josephy Jr. comes across as completely focussed on fact in this work, which is much appreciated. This book has already become an important fixture in my personal library. I regret only that I did not read it years and years ago.

For the short while it has been in use it has performed very well.
