its value is good now, but the long-term value is in HOW LONG it lasts, which I can't now predict
remote does not match the vcr, and doesn't have an eject button, but it connects for most vcr functions, image is fuzzy compared to my last vcr, but tolerable over time
recommendation depends on what you want; it doesn't do everything that I'd like, but enough
