With one small tweek it will last for years.
I have had to replace my first klaxon but found a great upgrade. Nothing beats the sound on an old vehicle but having the room to fit one out of the weather can be a problem. I had no option but to fit mine vertically right behind the grill. I didnt fancy fitting with the bell pointing upward as it would probably fill with water. I fitted it with the bell down but even so there are two small slots on the top used to pull the brushes out of the way when assembled in the factory. These do let water in and down through the motor, rusting everything it comes into contact with, including the disc that creates the distinctive sound. The electric spades also are of a budget material and rust very quickly. At these prices its all one can realistically expect.
The fix for me was a simple smear of grease on the spades and the top off a standard aerosol slipped over the top. No need to glue if you get the right size as the cables running down the side and out to their connections keep the cap in place. I wouldnt recommend trying to fill or glue the gaps but this works a treat.
A great bit of fun for your car or van and at these prices a must. Just keep the water out of it.

Looking for slide protection for wooden blind.
Wanted something soft to aid a plywood blind sliding flat against another panel. Brush strips protect the blind inside the channel but it just touches surfaces on its cover.
This was perfect to cut into wide strips and stick inside the cover to protect against rubbing. Very good quality with a very dense flock but thin enough to easily slide between the surfaces. Good adhesive as well.

Beats the standard.
Ever wondered why drilling steel is a pain.
It’s another world using bits like these. Make any job easy with this very good value set. Transformed a very long boring job I had to do in mild steel. Also very likely saved me sharpening time and destroying the occasional jobber bit.
