Grandkids love it

Check your plug first.
This looks really smart, hidden as it is on a roof beam on my lean-to, and is good quality. Comes supplied with screws and plugs if you're fitting to brick or block - which I didn't notice until I'd already fitted it.
Downside is - with a factory fitted/sealed plug the lid will not close and create the seal, which doers not make it ideal for outside use where it's likely to become wet, unless you pull the plug out, which kind of defeats the object. Reviewers of similar products had had the same issue. There must be an opening for a Richard Branson type..............
The covers for mains cable access pop-off quite easily, but you then have a large hole with a small cable going in to it. Would have been nice if a rubber grommet had been supplied - negligible cost on what is not a particularly cheap item, (I guess if you're using conduit or protected cable this would not be a problem).
