Versitle press
The press has performed well with the jobs that have been asked of it. For the amateur like me it will serve you well. I had purchased another unit that was not quite as good as this one thus comparison is a easy. Select the press mandrel carefully for fit is my word of advice and apply progressive pressure to achieve good results. I would have liked the mandrel edges to be a little more progressively radiused, On the whole reasonable product at an attractive price.

An Engineers View
1 of 1 found this helpful The tool is extremely good value for money however a few tweeks I will suggest.
The installation tool used on a Fabia 1 on the nearside (LH) is without fault, however on the OS (RH) the chassis member fouls the installation plug, this can be overcome easily by grinding a champer on the edge about 40mm long by 6mm at its deepest. This allows the tool to be centered snugly against the old bush to be pulled out, and saves console removal or being lowered.
The removal tool works fine however great care need to be taken to centre the tool acculturate, I have used A N Others tools of much greater expense I might add and the sit nicely without a need to be tool accurate, this one will need care to make sure it pulls directly in line with the central axis of the bush, at first I cursed the dolly for not sitting well, however after removing and taking a second look I found the fault was mine, in that it will only sit well in one particular place, I did not attempt to pull the bush off center however this could happen if no effort is made to make sure the units are accurately aligned.
I made a comment about the quality, in part this is not a generous evaluation as the tool is made well for the cost, my observation relates to the pulling die and the need to be very careful when aligning the tool onto the console frame. In short I would purchase again.

Excellent kit poor instructions
Unfortunately the suggested wiring is detective!
The supply inputs should be wired to a switched supply, if wired as suggested to the battery your lamps will remain illuminated.
If wired to a switched supply, the kit works well, dimming the DRL on turning on your lights. I further suggest the white trigger cable is connected to your side light live, this way your DRL will dim when your side lights are turned on.
Otherwise straightforward and working well
