Got these for the license plate lights in an 1956 Chevy Nomad that I've been helping to build, they work great and are much brighter than the old incandescent bulbs, most of all they fit in the light unit.

These were ordered to replace the 67 bulbs in an interior light for a 1956 Chevy Nomad, but could not use them, since they were twice as long as the original bulbs were and would not fit the light housing. They won't go to waste just put on the shelf until a need arises for them.

New EPI foams
I had bought these EPI 202's back around 1972 and loved the thundering bass and brilliant highs. Over the years they just hadn't sounded quite right, the bass and mid range sounded like it was lacking. Pulled the grills off and found that the old foam surrounds had hardened like a rock and the cone wasn't moving at all.
Took me an afternoon to do all 4 8" woofers. After the 3rd one I had the procedure down pat and finished the last one done in no time. Words of advise, TAKE YOUR TIME AND GO SLOW. There was one very good video on Youtube about using a smartphone or signal generator to center the cone without shims. It worked like a charm, I set up my signal generator to 50hz fed an amp to the speaker at low volume and set the foam down on the frame.
When my old ESS Tempest's will need new foams I know where I'll order from. The items arrived it seemed like overnight when in reality is was only a couple of days.
