Simple RGB laptop style gaming keyboard.
I must say I did hesitate on value part. Cougar Vantar is a nice keyboard, but it has some issues.
I've been looking for not too expensive keyboard with RGB or at least some sort of backlight, which has anti-ghosting and is quiet.
Scissor-switch membrane type keyboard is what you can usually find on laptops. It's quiet and low profile, and that's what Vantar is.
Cougar Vantar is built entirely from plastic, top of the keyboard is imitating brushed aluminium. It looks allright and overall built quality seems decent, nice plastics. It has rubber feet all around and I like the fact that keys in bottom row are slightly enlarged compared to others (ctrl, alt, spacebar etc.).
It comes with british keyboard layout, doesn't require ANY specific drivers, which makes RGB options quite limited. But they keys backlight has an issue. When you look at the keys under an angle, you can see that keys aren't entirely lit, tops of the keys are dimmed. I'm not bothered, because I can type without looking at the keyboard anyway, but some people might find it annoying.
Another thing is the anti-ghosting system isn't fully anti-ghosting. You can't press every key and record that, it's limited, but I can't tell to which keys (haven't tested that deeply). Just keep it in mind. Some keys can't be pressed with others simultaneously.
So overall I would recommend this keyboard, however because of the issues I've mentioned, and the price I paid - £36 isn't that fair I think. If you're looking for laptop style keyboard, with very basic backlit options, go for it. Personally I don't need all this rainbowy crap I just use it with constant light option. But for the similar price, you can get a reasonable mechanical keyboard (like motospeed ck104). It won't be so quiet as this one though. So just choose what you need!

Allright for the price
Nothing usual and nothing bad really. Just good value, does it job at being solid, simple usb hub. Maybe could be faster, but I'm not really using it to connect hard drives so doesn't matter for me. If you want inexpensive simple usb hub, just go for it.
