Nice Looking Faucet with Design Flaw
The finish is much nicer than i expected this product to be. The previous faucet I owned, also a Moen in the antique bronze finish was nice but the Edison model has more black which makes it stand out more. The handle functions nicely and overall I am pleased with this faucet.
Now the bad...I mentioned that the quality was good and so is the customer service. That being said, I thought I had a faulty Quick Connect Diverter. Turns out that the plastic gap filler bracket for the spout shank was too thick. According to Moen, you don't need the plastic bracket if the counter depth is 13mm. When I installed the spout shank onto the counter which has a depth of 13mm (1/2"), there are not enough threads to secure it. When I tried to install the spout shank with the plastic bracket, it's too thick and won't allow the the Quick Connect Diverter to be installed properly / at all. I ended up cutting about 1/2" off the plastic bracket and then everything worked as it should. Someone at Moen needs to look at this. Other than that snafu, the installation was fairly simple and Moen provides a nice tool to secure the spout shank and handle. Some other plastic bits seem suspect but once the faucet is installed, it has worked beautifully.
