Out of Date
1 of 1 found this helpful Buyers should be aware that large sections of this book (pp23-25 and pp33-46 and parts of the general exercises at the end) are now out of date with the advent of the new Grade 5 syllabus; as is the section 'Syllabus for ABRSM Grade 5' on p2. In spite of a number of small inconsistencies still a very useful workbook, though with the advent of the new Grade 5 some of these examples are perhaps more difficult than one would now expect on the papers themselves judging by the sample papers now released. Surely an organisation as large as the ABRSM could have produced an up to date (and more comprehensive) workbook to coincide with the new exam rather than this ad hoc arrangement which will inevitably cause some confusion.
