Consistent quality = consistent results
If my rifle/scope is set up correctly and I get my act together, I don't have to worry about where the pellet will end up. The consistency means that if I do miss the target, it's not the fault of the pellet, it's either my bad marksmanship or a strong, gusty cross-wind (my favourite excuse)
