A mix of Labyrinth and Munchkin, Quest for the Dragon us a fun family game from the 80s.
Great quality vintage board game. Delivered safely and quickly thank you.
Kids and I loved playing the game. The fact that each game us slightly different as the maze builds up as you go means each game is different. How you lay the maze pieces firms a big part of the strategy, especially for the children who seemed to not mind making life awkward for themselves, as long as it made life really awkward for dad/brother/sister/friend.
There are other in-game choices with choosing routes, items, who to battle or avoid, an overall slight D&D feel with adventurers collecting items, fighting monsters (and eachother) and to level up.
Lots of cards and pieces so looks exciting for kids and the unknown, evolving game board makes for an interesting race to kill the dragon.
Game time tends to be 2 hours or more with 4 players.
