2 AXIS DIGITAL READOUT DRO FOR MILLING LATHE MACHINE WITH PRECISION LINEAR SCALE

Great price for the capability it provides

In the beginning I was apprehensive about using glass scales, but after mounting them with the protective covers I'm confident that with the double seals and the covers they will be fine. I had never installed a DRO on a machine of any type and it went very well. This DRO works great and is very sensitive to any movement of the table of my 9"x42" milling machine. The user manual is not well translated but with an understanding of the different functions along with YouTube videos of other DRO installation and use, it was not hard to figure out how to use this DRO. The great price of this DRO made the poor manual much less of a problem. One thing I thought was odd about this unit is in order to input a number less than 1, for example .9, you have to key in a 0 before the decimal point. That was a head scratcher for me because I've never run across this in all my years of inputting numbers into digital devices. It's not a problem now that I understand it's necessary. I'm very happy with this DRO and in fact I purchased another one for my lathe after installing this on my mill.
