Fast, funny, intelligent observational comedy. Awesome!
1 of 1 found this helpful In the UK, we tend to know Chris Rock as a film actor (eg Bad Company, Dogma, Down to Earth), perhaps few would know that he is a stand-up comedy performer too. This is an excellent show. I'm a fan of stand-ups such as Eddie Izzard, Alan Davies, Ross Noble and Ricky Gervais, and this show puts Chris up there with the best of them in my opinion. There are of course jokes aimed at an American and Black audience but it's definitely accessible to everyone. It's a lot faster than Mr Izzard and Mr Gervais, but I think that comes along with the American brashness - not a bad thing though - it means the lines are delivered with confidence. The whole thing is intelligent and there's loads for everyone to relate to. Watch it!
