Olympia Glazunov no 3.
A good Russian performance of a good Russian symphony. The Melodiya recordings actually
grow on you and have their own characteristics although attracting sneers from the Decca brigade
in the 1960s and 1970s. Gennardy and Evgeny were conductors with one eye permanently
trained on the Russian Ministry of Culture until well into 1980s. FBB Jan 2017

it is excellent.
it is a classic western with wayne at his best and is not strangled by pc considerations. also, the blu ray version is a great addition to its presentation. excellent.

panasonic rx d21 radio/cd/cassette portable
This product is now quite an old model (which I accept) & is quite powerful in the amplifier which in turn powers all the parts. As with an old-ish piece of kit you cannot expect all sections to work as they did when purchased new. This one has a slight problem in that the CD player is about 25% light in the
volume on one channel. My friendly electronics technician in Derby thinks he can fix this which will possibly cost me £40 which I am happy to pay. Moral is though - unless you know someone like him - think very hard about accepting a fault in the equipment. Frank Baxter 11 May 2017
