very poor camera
very poor camera, no manual control, flash far too powerfull for most things, only good if you like taking photos of cat's and dogs, one the plus side it's a nice retro shape, but it's what the photos are like the matters not how nice the camera looks, much better cameras can be bought for less money.

The best zoom i've ever had
Hi the nikon 70-300 mm is a fantastic zoom, I was going to buy a sigma 70-200 f2.8 but I find I don't need the extra two stops with this lens having the nikon vr system built in, I can get sharp photos at a 30th with the lensd voomed out to 300 where I would normally need to use at least 125th if not 200th, so if you have a nikon digital or one of the later nikon af film cameras then this as to be the lens to go for.
