ES175 guitar kit
I've built 5 guitars from kits. All are a mix of good and poor features. The really big poor feature of this kit is the neck which has a relief bow which cannot be corrected by the truss rod, which means that it is not possible to get a good action. Also the neck was already fitted (unlike most kits) and a large amount of glue had been wiped into the surface of the areas around the neck socket making staining with a natural finish very blotchy. Finally the headstock had been cut from a most unsuitable piece of timber which had several visible imperfections. Regret I cant recommend on the basis of this sample.
