Cheap, tiny, well built, sharp Canon lens that aims to please

I haven't had much chance to use this lens yet, as I bought a L lens that hasn't left my camera. But when I did use it i was surprised by the compactness and lightness of it, also i was very impressed with the sharpness even at f2.8. Auto-focus is fairly quick in good conditions, I used it for a night shoots in a street lamp lit area and it does seem to struggle to focus, hunts for lock for a while then completely misses focus, but manual focus is easy and quick anyway. Overall for the price, it's a tiny, well built, sharp lens that aims to please. I would recommend this.
