The last Nokia is worth buying second-hand
I have owned the Nokia 6700 classic since it came out and bought a second-hand one as a replacement for my original phone which I had owned for 5 years before failing to survive being trodden on. This is THE best pre-andoid, pre-huge screen, pre-touchscreen phone mobile. If you want a slim compact phone for making calls and texting, then this phone with it's metal body is ideal. There are plenty of second-hand ones available as well as spares to repair damaged ones. So easy to use, links with PC to sync calendar and contacts; easy to backup messages and photos too. A great 5mp camera with a flash; and all in a tiny package. It can connect to the internet but with the small non-touch screen and no 4G this is painful. If you want google then you are better off with a iPhone or Android or windows phone. It has built in GPS and maps, which are good but will drain the battery. In normal use the battery will last days, I charge mine at most every 3 days and when few calls are made, it can see out the week. The final feature is a music player, store on a micro sd card and carry it all with you. The built-in fm radio only works with headphones, but the built-in speaker is surprisingly good for music playing without the need for ear-buds. It connects to a pc via a micro-usb or bluetooth... it does not have wi-fi.
It is a shame they no longer make anything remotely similar, there is still a large market for a quality, easy to use mobile whose main focus is calls/texts/local music/long battery life.

WD-RED drives are ideal for a NAS device. I have used the 2TB, 3TB and 6TB models. They have all performed reliably.
