Very handy for small spaces
I have been using the props for narrow pieces of plasterboard fitted between joists. They are excellent for where access by a full size plasterboard lift cannot be used. In addition the ceilings in my house are very high in some places (over 3 metres) so the length is very useful to avoid having to use extra lift under the prop. Only negative is the slow action of the clamp mechanism if you do not have a free hand to pull quickly to approximate extension. Just needs a bit of planning and organisation to ensure everything is set up right first. Great for this sort of job.

Exactly what you would expect
Bought to cut a replacement for a seal damaged during dismantling. The material appears to be a decent quality rubber bonded cork, which is what I expected. Importantly it was packed properly so no kinks or cracks that might allow leakage to develop in this oil filled gearbox.

Functional and good value
With shooting sticks on line from under £8 to over £150 I wanted something that would be durable and functional, but not so expensive I would be frightened of using it in case it got lost (as its predecessor did). At this price I seem to have got something that is reasonably sturdy and should last, without paying for unwanted bling and fancy finish. On the basis of you usually get what you pay for, this seems to be a good choice.
