2 x Indesit Oven Shelf Adjustable Chrome Cooker Grill Shelves Extendable Arms

Adjusting locking screws (poor quality) rendered these shelves potentially hazardous.

Prima facie these shelves looked really good. When trying to lock the adjusting arms however, the screws supplied were of poor quality. The 'tapping' into the hollow tubes into which the adjustable legs slotted, was very suspect and did not allow the screws to be tightened to prevent movement. This had the potential of causing serious burns if the shelf was not locked in securely and happened to slip (as ours did). Fortunately, this occurred whilst adjusting the shelves whilst the oven was still cold. I did notice that this company also supply shelves with locking nuts as opposed to screws and this may be a better option. I subsequently ordered a 'non' adjustable shelf which in my opinion is much safer.
