I was hesitant to do the repaiir but if you follow the video it is straight forward
Key points
Before refitting ne door lock put screws into the new door lock to create a thread a ,remove then fit lock
it is easier if two people refit door wire spring Using 3 or 4 teaspoons to stretch the spring was the best approach The helper holding one or two of the spoons
Using the tea sppon handles id less likely to scratch the washing maschine
you also need to ensure the spring is inlline with the wire Simply hold the wire each side of the spring and stretch to establish the spring moves freely before fitting Adjust wire if not
sounds complicated but very simple when you try
