Quite capable drive even by today standards except for linear I/O
Pros:
* Full PLP (has supercap).
* eMLC with better write endurance.
* Quite decent capacities (for almost a decade old drive).
* Not bad random read and especially write speeds (~20k steady-state IOPS at low queue depth according to FIO).
* Still supported by the contemporary SSD utility (GUI/CLI).
* More than average reliability.
* Quite cool, modest power usage.
* Firmware has quite good wear leveling algorithm.
* Extensive SMART reporting.
* Has status LED.
Cons:
* Linear read/write speeds are limited by interface (SATA II).
* Controller doesn't make significant advantage from deeper queue depths.
All in all quite capable drive even by today standards except for linear I/O. Quite viable as a dedicated drive for small/medium database.
