Over priced annual subscription

Shame on me for not doing better research on this before purchasing. At $150 +/- per year for a service subscription, I think this product is a poor value. Most Garmin (and perhaps other brands) GPS units will connect to Garmin Connect for free to give real time location tracking to someone at home.
