Needs Better Tech.
I've been doing a lot of research on Dash Cams recently.Although the picture is high quality, the device does not shut down automatically when the car parks and the storage card needs to be reformatted when it fills. Newer technology allow the system to shut down and off when you park and also over writes the media card as its needed, so you don't have to constantly reformat. Disappointing. Also I can't figure out the need for two cameras. I need coverage of the road not the people sitting in the car with me.

This Movie Really Needs a Restoration
"Porgy and Bess" is a classic film that hasn't seen a screen in a long time. The quality of the transfer from film to disc is extremely disappointing. But its only what's available. Criteron should do a major Restoration of this movie. Unfortunately, due to the social environment we live in this project may never happen.
Restoring Porgy and Bess (1959) presents challenges not just technically, but also culturally—especially in light of today’s heightened awareness of race, representation, and historical context. Here are the key reasons:
Controversial Portrayals: The film features racial stereotypes and depictions of African American life that many now find reductive or offensive. Restoring and re-releasing it could draw criticism for reinforcing outdated or harmful imagery.
Consent and Legacy: Many Black artists historically associated with Porgy and Bess, including Sidney Poitier and Dorothy Dandridge, were uneasy about the roles, which they felt were limiting or caricatured. Promoting the film today might seem to disregard those concerns.
Ownership and Access Issues: The film has been essentially unavailable for decades due to rights issues and disinterest from the Gershwin estate, which has carefully guarded the work's presentation. Any restoration would need to navigate complex legal and ethical territory.
In short, while Porgy and Bess has artistic merit, its revival would need careful framing to avoid appearing tone-deaf in a time when authentic, dignified representation is a major priority.

Great Soundtrack.
Good film. Great Soundtrack plus a live performance by Linda Ronstadt and Jimmy Buffett.
