does what it says on the box
2 of 2 found this helpful bought camera to go cruising in central america involving alot of snorkelling.underwater pictures are excellent once you get used to settings(trial+error)which in my opinion is the best way to learn about a new camera.also took excellent photos on land and of a nighttime when taking a big camera was impractible.when underwater screen is clearly visible and you can zoom in and out and change setting as easy as on land,flash also works underwater if needed.i have only ever used throwaway 35mm underwater cameras before where you just point and hope, but you still dont know until you get it developed. if that is what you have used up until now then this camera is most highly recommended.the best way i found to use the camera was to hang it from the waist loop on my shorts with about three foot of string let it hang in the water then stick it in my pocket when getting out of water always keeping it attached because this camera will sink if you let go of it.there are newer versions of this camera but for snorkelling the extra money does not justify the extras dont be put of by negative reviews as i am new to digital (12 months) and i found it quite easy to master with a little bit of patience and perceverance. bad pictures are normally down to bad cameramen and at least with a digi you can delete as you go.happy holidays and memorys

handy item for any workman or outdoorsman (or woman)
excellent way of starting off a blade before putting it on a stone but to be honest if the knife is for work or outdoors this will put a good enough edge on it, but sharpening knives on a stone is therapeutic for those that enjoy it, worth reading the instructions with it to learn about different angles for different uses if you do not know about them already, plenty of different sharpeners out there of this design but having 4 different angles in one place is handy
