Attractive model of the real thing. Displays well.
A nice edition of a relatively scarce model. Well finished and accurate. Not a toy though. Mainly for display or inclusion on a model railway layout or diorama.
Worth buying. Should increase in value over the years.

Ratio fencing
This product has been on the market for years but it is a good product. The fencing comes attached to fairly thick sprues but it is easy to cut them free with a sharp knife. They can be readily joined together with filing end posts flat and cementing together. Easily painted if required.
Usual warning that cutting by knife should be done by an adult or supervised.

An old stager needing revamped
This and the other Hornby signals have been in the range since I was at school and I'm now a pensioner. It is way over scale as are the other two models in the range. It is essentially a toy and is fairly robust, but cannot be regarded as a scale model. A recent small update was the provision of railings round the upper platform. These are left to the buyer to fit and are very fiddly.
The bonus is that it will be with you for a long time. It is actually well built and if you can live with the above shortcomings, you will find it a charming addition to a model train set, but not a scale layout.
