Perfect for rehydrating and then a storing ginger beer plant SCOBY between brews.

Mine spends most of its time sitting on a north facing kitchen windowsill holding a sybiotic colony of bacteria and yeast. When the SCOBY is being used for brewing the conical flask is easy clean and sterilise. When I'm not brewing it's a useful container for storing it in. The narrowish opening can easily be covered with some folded aluminium foil to reduce the chance contamination whilst letting excess CO2 escape without a build up in pressure. As the SCOBY grows I might need to get larger conical flask, and I'll be looking at the same brand and seller first.
