Excellent phone for anybody, young or old.
It is fast, no pausing between screens or folders. accepts up to 2 Gb of memory card storage for LOTS of pictures and videos. 1.3 Mp camera is adequate for most imprompto circumstances. Stylish and very functional. It Has a weighty feel and is quite sturdy especially if using a case for it.

Samsung T401G Straight Talk phone
Handy Slider with quality graphics and features for the money. A nice improvement over its predecessor. For $100 or less you cant got wrong.

MotoRazor V3
Very versatile phone. Bluetooth capable and has a lot of bells and whistles. I like that you can lock out the internet and shopping features because they are so easy to accidently access. I've had that problem in the past with other phones. The only shortcoming I can see with this phone is it's lack of memory. You can only store a limited number of picture or music files.
