Fair value if you want an ipod of some kind but can't afford the latest.
Stirdy; bright display; works with 'pound-shop' chargers and cables. The controls are simple to use: that is why I bought it. It does not seem to have the functionality of the later ipods (eg, you do not seem to be able to have a thumbnail preview of album covers), but the navigation to songs and artists is simple and clear: the dial responds well.
I've used SharePod as an alternative to itunes and the ipod is recognised.To get the most out of this device, you need to manage the 'tag' data that accompanies the audio files.
I paid 30 quid for this (used) and think that is a just price, would probably not pay more.

Reliable peripheral for Ableton Lite Live
works well with Ableton Lite live when I found the right drivers. There are newer models, I believe, but this functions very well.
