For an All-Time Classic look no further
Having finally got round to seeing this excellent movie on the big screen it was a no-brainer to own it for repeated viewing at the earliest chance. Whilst it could be said "they don't make em' like that anymore" this is in no way a criticism - stylistically it's completely of its time but, being an Antonioni film, is also ahead of it in many aspects. Herbie Hancock's evocative score is used to great effect throughout and as a meditation on the human condition and whether we are all, ultimately, alone in the world you'll find fewer better examples than this film. If only someone would see fit to release Zabriskie Point on dvd ...
