This was recommended to me to read a long time ago. Great book about the biggest and bloodiest battle ever fought on English soil. The impact of the battle of Towton cannot be underestimated. Essential reading for any Wars of the Roses aficionado. It would be another 10 years before the Lancastrians would be able properly to raise another army capable of attempting to topple the Yorkists which in turn would also fail.
