Deserves its rep
1 of 1 found this helpful You can Google the reviews of this mic, specs and the like. I have used Shure SM 58's for decades and always been happy. But the Audix OM7 has a clarity and presence that blows the standard workhorse SM 58 away. A beautiful professional microphone - great for vocals, works extremely well with vocal effects and processors, both live and for recording. A winner!

A classic
It's a mystery why the Sivananda folks have not put this out as a DVD, or replaced it with a new DVD that highlights Sivananda style yoga. Film in beautiful settings, the yoga set forth here is authentic and the practitioners are truly masterful. Presented in a rather odd format of running through things three times, the tape is long, but it is filled with great intstruction. Sivananda yoga almost seems dated in today's flooded yoga marketplace, but the truth is - here is a style of yoga that gives all the benefits that yoga offers; physical, mental and spiritual. Nothing replaces instruction by a qualified teacher, but this tape is a classic, and is refreshing in light of the ego-driven styles of yoga that have captured much of the west today.

Dated - but worth a look
This is one of the few written sources for students of Guang Ping Tai Chi, so for those interested in this style, the book is worth a look. It would be difficult to learn Tai Chi from this or any other printed material, of course. I found the photos amusing rather than educational - since the players, though skilled, all look like no one told them that the Hippie movement ended a few years before these photos were taken. This odd quirk makes taking the book seriously a little more difficult. I bought the book because I will be studying this style of Tai Chi soon.
