Great Walkman
1 of 1 found this helpful I got this for my Mom to listen to her cassette tapes from John F. MacArthur when she travels. There aren't any good cassette players for sale any more and people have a lot of cassette tapes out there and they need a good machine to play them on. This is a good buy! It works well and my Mom was very, very happy! It was for her birthday and she said repeatedly that this was the very best thing I could have gotten her and I even heard her tell people at Church that I had gotten her a tape player for her birthday. So, I guess it was a good decision to purchase this Walkman!

Perfect for our WISP application! We highly recommend them!
We purchased these refurbished Cisco units to use in our Network Operations Center for our WISP business in Texas to replace existing Ubiquiti switches. The Ubiquiti switches were supposed to deliver 300mb/s throughput but would only muster about 75mb/s and no one at Ubiquiti could tell us how to get them to operate at their rated output. So, we found these Cisco switches on ebay from Vibrant Technologies and we thought we would give them a try - and boy are we glad we did! They are working perfectly and provide incredible throughput and don't give us any trouble! Just what we needed!

1 of 1 found this helpful Tape speed is way too fast and cannot be fixed. The cassette player plays every tape way too fast. I am very good with mechanical equipment and I tried everything to get it to work correctly and I failed. The roller and capstan do pinch the tape correctly but the capstan turns way too fast so the tape travels past the tape head way too fast. The 'auto-off' mechanism works properly and everything else about the functionality of the device works correctly but the tape speed is 2, 3, or 4 times too fast. It is like you are playing recordings back at triple or quadruple speed or faster.
I purchased this for my Mother months ago and she did not open the sealed plastic package until recently and discovered it did not work correctly. It has been too long since I purchased the unit to send it back and I hate that. The packaging said it was manufactured in the early 2000's.
