The flashlight is great. The battery is more like 800 mAh, not 4000 as marked.
7 of 7 found this helpful The beam is very bright and the zoom is fantastic. Construction is very rugged and it is light weight considering it is all aluminum. Buyers should be aware that there is a huge ratings inflation going on with most brands of 18650 batteries. If this battery were truly 4000 mAh, the battery alone would be worth the price of the set. Alas, it is only about 800 mAh, about 1/5 of the capacity on the label. As a result, and due to the extreme brightness of this flashlight, the battery will need charging after less than an hour of use. If you buy a battery that really has 3000 or so mAh capacity, you will pay about 10 bucks, but it will last 3 to 4 times longer. The batteries do recharge well, so battery cost is not a problem. In spite of the battery issue, I went back and bought two more of these. Very pleased with it.
