Not for 1 ton 4x4 trucks.
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this tool set to change the ball joints on my 2004 Dodge Ram 3500. I needed to use a piece of 1/4" metal plate I had on hand, and also to use the adapters in unorthodox ways to get the job done. The press tool itself became bent from use and I was worried that it would break under load and send adapters flying at dangerous speeds.
I still would say that this tool set is a good value if you're intending to use it on smaller applications than I did.

Flee in terror before my mighty bell!
5 of 5 found this helpful Okay, it doesn't actually inspire terrified fleeing, but people do move, even if sometimes in the wrong direction. The bell rings twice when you thumb it, it's small and unobtrusive and doesn't completely dork out your bike. It mounts easily without needing to remove anything that's already mounted to the bars. I also considered a handlebar mounted laser cannon (cost prohibitive), a recording of gunfire played over a bluetooth speaker (still considering adding this), or simply screaming profanities in a Scottish brogue. The bell was the easiest and almost as cost effective as screaming highland-based unpleasantries, which I still do sometimes, just to stay in form.

Good solid and simple ratchet shifter
1 of 1 found this helpful This is my second Pro Ratchet shifter. This first one was used in an off-road truck and proved itself to be bullet proof. I removed the annoying reverse lever (drill out one small rivet) to make shifts into reverse and back to drive super-quick. This is important if you're trying to rock a stuck vehicle back and forth out of a predicament.
