Fab little pot of varnish
I use this to coat a wood covered hip flask with very fine lazer cut detail. I wanted something that would protect the wood from chipping away and not change the wood colour very much. The outcome was better than expected. The wood turned a deeper chestnut colour which is gorgeous and actually way better than its original dull wood colour. It has really brought the flask alive whilst protecting those tiny fragments of wood around the tree branches and leaves.
There's an ever so slight yellowing of the varnish in places I can see over the metal, but that's no real bother to me. I understand it can be very hard to get a pure clear varnish and it does affect the overall look of the hip flask. Very happy indeed.
