Perfect drop-in replacement
1 of 1 found this helpful It's a knob, how much can you write about it? Anyway, it works perfectly and the design has obviously been updated so that the silver knob part won't crack as easily now which is why I was replacing it in the first place.
To replace the item, remove the silver knob by pulling fairly hard(unless it is cracked and then it should be easy). Remove the black oval piece behind it with your fingers or a toothpick etc and you should be left with a white piece of plastic sticking out. Grab some pliers and pull the rest of the unit out (it may take some force but don't worry). After that, just take the new one and push the whole thing in.
I might buy two more to replace the other two knobs because I can see them starting to crack as well.
