Edge of Darkness ...A MUST SEE MYSTERY!!!!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful a wonderful bbc production, that has just been remade by mel gibson and will be released January 2010. starring the late bob peck as inspector ronald craven, probably best known to u.s. audiences for his character of "muldoon" the big game hunter in Jurassic park. an IRA hit on a policeman turns out to be political asassination of his activist daughter played by joanne whalley. the story centers around craven's realization that he wasn't the target and his search for the truth about his daughters murder. his investigation leads to a nuclear cover-up. joe don baker is noteworthy in is portrayal of a helpful CIA spook very similar to his later character in the james bond series. lastly eric clapton wrote the musical score for this thought provoking miniseries. watch it before you see the re-make. BUY THIS DVD!!!!!!!
