Great, but compromised
1 of 1 found this helpful There are tonnes of reviews of this product online so I’m not going to replicate those. What I will say is that the addition of the telescopic handle is way more than just a ‘selfie stick’ and opens up way more shooting opportunities. For example, shooting very low down (eg if you’re in to rc cars and you want to pan alongside one while it’s driving) no longer requires you to crawl around or double over to get the shot; you can just extend the stick for a much more comfortable shooting position. Same goes for high-angle shots, it’s not the longest but it does give you more options.
I will say that if you’re planning to do hours of shooting, you’ll miss the ‘power bank’ functionality that came with the previous model and you’ll likely need to take some means of charging your phone with you. This is the reason for the four-star review, I’d rather it was a bit bigger and heavier and retained this important feature. I knew this before buying it of course, and I’d still buy it again, it’s just a big omission of a key gesture and I don’t want to encourage that with five-star reviews!
Overall great piece of kit, get yourself a decent piece of video editing software to go with it (there are some great free ones out there) and you’ll be surprised at what you can do.

Fast, powerful and quiet
0 of 1 found this helpful First off I have only run these servos a few times so I cannot yet speak to their durability, however they appear to be very well made and who doesn't like the look of machined aluminium?!
I bought two of these to replace the woeful stock servos on my Traxxas TRX-6 (crawler) and Losi LMT (monster truck), so two very different applications but the servo really shines in both cases. In the crawler, the servo provides more than enough power to negotiate any turn even with the weight of the vehicle bearing down on a single front wheel. I am also very happy that the servo doesn't do the constant 'hunting' that the stock one used to do as soon as the rig was powered up.
In the monster truck the power and speed has vastly improved the steering response, especially on grass where I like to use my ramps because the resistance of the grass combined with huge tyres was really too much for the stock servo to overcome.
In summary, they are powerful, fast, very quiet and look brilliant (especially on the LMT where it is on show). Time will tell as to the durability, but the LMT has already taken some big hits on the front wheels and steering linkage from big jumps, back-flips and collisions and so far, so good.
