5 of 7 found this helpful I have used this to sand blast a smoke damaged property after a fire, I was using a 3 hp 200ltr compressor to run it
I found if I sieve the sand as I fill the tank to take the larger bits out there is no problems of it blocking up
Just remember to open the air valve to the out let hose before you open the bottom sand outlet or the pipe fills up to much and you will blow loads of sand out , I found that you do not have to open the bottom valve fully maybe a quarter is enough depends what you doing
I cleaned the full brickwork on the rear of a house in a couple of hours
Cleans rusty parts in seconds
Very impress ,I got loads of things I can clean up with this
Should have bought one years ago
If you only doing small parts like brake calliper or break discs etc you could use a smaller compressor
