I like cheap but only if better than expected
So like some of you I wanted to get a angle grinder. I liked the idea of the variable speed and this seemed cheap even after the postage costs. I'm and engineer and used angle grinders for over 20 years, I knew what spec this item was. When I received it, didn't care that there wasn't a case so all good so far. I turned it on..... it didn't run! First thing I noticed was the speed was at no 1 so I moved it to no 2 alas it worked but you can't use no 2 as it just stop turning. Running it faster it sounds like the bearing is shot which then gave the game away on quality and suspect it won't last for more than a year. Never mind I thought, I will continue with it but registered the warrenty. Used it yesterday as slow as I could but fast enough to turn..... It gets very hot, very quick indeed. So much so, it's difficult to hold. Had to give up using it on the job and use different tool. Word of warning, kinda disappointed 😞 Good luck, I like the bond haus range but this isn't a good one I'm afraid
