Overheats my Galaxy Active 2 watch battery!!!

This charger does not charge my watch safely. Immediately when my Galaxy Active 2 watch is placed on it a message saying ,"use original charger" appears. Minutes later it refuses to charge my watch due to the battery is starting to overheat. I am returning this charger Immediately. I hope it has not damaged my watch battery life cycle.
