A great buy for the money
I plan to take a long range shooting course. In anticipation of taking the course I made a fairly intensive study of the scopes out there that would be acceptable. If you are looking in the $500 range this is the scope. Having visited several gun shops the Vortex scope kept coming up as a good scope for the money. Now that I have purchased one and mounted it on a Sako heavy barrel 243 it seems to me that it is a great match for the 243. The clarity is great. I like the shims to create the zero stop point and found it easy to follow the enclosed instructions for sighting in the scope and setting the zero stop. Having run about 50 rounds through it, it is my impression that I will be very satisfied with it.....I am already thinking about a 6.5 Creedwore and even better Vortex for the new rifle. Clearly a great choice for me!
